I have been a Texas native since 1980. I am a graduate from Texas State in San Marcos with a BBA in Marketing. I moved to Lubbock in the winter of 2007 with my wife and one year old daughter to pursue a homebuilding career, only to discover we were heading into one of the nation’s deepest recessions. It was my goal to help my homebuilder father-in-law sell his homes during these tough times, and from this my career in selling real estate was born. Now having lived in Lubbock for 11 years, we are blessed with a prosperous real estate business, two beautiful kids, three dogs, a hedgehog, and a fish.
Since my start in Real Estate back in June 2008, I have sold hundreds of homes in and around Lubbock County. I have been consistently ranked in the top five REALTORS® in Lubbock for overall sales dollar volume.
I currently serve as Vice President of the Board in my neighborhood HOA, Vice President of Associates at the West Texas Home Builder’s Association (WTHBA), Board Member at WTHBA, 2018 WTHBA Parade Chairman, 2017 WTHBA Associate Member of the Year, and a Board Member on the City of Lubbock’s Board of Building Appeals.

Tammie has always done her nest to put family first, but especially since having breast cancer in 2011. She has been married to Tommy King IV since 1991 and they have two fabulous daughters: Alexis Nix & Alee King. Tammie & Tommy are also “Tata” & “Turkey” to their grandson, Truman Nix.
